Who I Am

I wanted to be a lawyer when I started high school, and by the time I graduated, I wanted to be a music producer. I grew up singing and playing music. It’s something that my mom and dad both did, and I guess I got every ounce of the musical genes within me. I had never dreamed myself capable of producing my own music, let alone mixing and mastering it. I started with just my piano and guitar, writing a song about how I couldn’t understand why my dad took his own life, and now I’m here in Nashville, writing songs examining the different facets to growing up in life and how they affect me and the people in my life. I’ve been influenced by so many different artists and songwriters within different stages of life. Starting out, it was Jon Bellion and Daniel Caesar. Lately, I’ve been very inspired by Inhaler, Faye Webster, LÉON, Big Thief, Clairo, Sharon Van Etten, and Coldplay. I’m inspired by each in different ways, whether that’s writing, production, or mixing. Every accomplishment so far has been little milestones contributing to the long game. I’ve played several shows, written with a handful of talented people, and learned how to produce, mix, and master my own music. Nothing excites me more than connecting with an audience, and I’m grateful I get the privilege to do so in any capacity. I am so thankful for where I am today and all that I have learned and will keep learning.
